Residential Multiple Housing - Kafue Residential Units.

The medium-density development comprises 33 residential units, thoughtfully arranged to balance individual privacy with opportunities for community interaction.

Responding to a compact site, the development elevates the residential accommodation to provide parking beneath while maximising usable space and efficient circulation. Trellised screens, natural ventilation and open-air passages create privacy, shade and changing patterns of light, while shared circulation spaces encourage interaction between residents. The project demonstrates how considered medium-density housing can transform spatial constraints into an opportunity for connected, sustainable and community-oriented urban living

Public Work - The Park Willows.

The architecture uses robust precast concrete pods, custom-designed furniture, natural ventilation and carefully considered shading to respond to Pretoria's climate and the rugged character of the bicycle park. The result is a durable, people-centred public environment that encourages recreation, interaction and community engagement throughout the day-demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can strengthen everyday public life.

Plato Irene.

The design was recognised for its restrained, minimalist approach, careful use of form, texture and materials, and strong connection to its neighbourhood context. Beyond creating a refined contemporary coffee space, the project incorporated the work of a local artist, reinforcing a sense of community and place. The commendation acknowledges the project's thoughtful transformation of an existing space and its contribution to Pretoria's architectural landscape.
